The field is not a desk
Field software cannot be a mobile skin of a desktop tool. It must work without internet, know its GPS, open the camera and read barcodes — at the door, in the alley, on the disaster site.
Our design choices
Offline-first architecture with an IndexedDB / SQLite queue and idempotency-token sync, mobile-first one-handed UI, GPS-stamped records, photo and video evidence, barcode / QR / NFC flows, and device-bound identity through JWT / Keycloak.
Typical scenarios
Field rep collection with instant digital receipts, visit routing and task tracking, warehouse barcoded stock movement, disaster team sector scans, on-site inspector reports — all entered in the field and visible centrally in real time.
Technology
React Native + Capacitor or native shells, Go backend, a sync engine (River queue + idempotency), S3 + CDN. When the network drops, work continues; when it returns, nothing collides.
