Design principles
Guardrails first, AI second: sensitive operations are blocked by rules before any model decides. Tool-calling with approval for privileged actions. Always allow human handoff. Audit everything: prompts, outputs and decisions are logged. Provider-agnostic: Anthropic, OpenAI or local LLMs swap behind an adapter.
Sensitive data
Card numbers, national IDs and health data never reach the AI; a redact + filter pipeline is mandatory.
